Church Expansion Program Update

It's been over 2 1/2 years since we had our groundbreaking ceremony. Although it doesn't seem like much has been done, there has been much done behind the scenes--initial fundraising, hiring an architect for the design work, working with Horizon City on permitting and building issues, etc.

Our plan is to complete the expansion on a "pay as you build" basis. Our first goal was to raise enough money for the design, plans, building documents/permits, pour the foundation, and erect the steel structure. We have rasied approximately 1/2 of the money needed to complete this phase of the building program. We were finally able to move our two storage sheds to new locations to allow room for the pouring of the foundation for our new building.

Wednesday Evening Meal

Join us for our Wednesday evening meal each Wednesday at 5:45 pm. The cost of the meal is $3.00 per person 9 years old and up, $2.00 for children ages 3 - 8, and with a maximum of $10.00 per family. Children will be offered a kid's meal (peanut butter & jelly sandwich, hot dog, etc) if they do not want the main entree. In order to serve you better and accomodate budgets the option to prepay for meals is available. Take out plates are available for $3.00 each. Plates must be reserved by Monday and picked up Wednesday evening by 6:45 pm. For more information please contact the church office at 852-3027.

Help Needed in Children's Ministry

We are in need of help with the toddlers on Sunday mornings during both Sunday School and the Worship Service. If you are interested, please contact the church office at 852-3027.
